I'd like to draw attention to three brand-new volumes of translations of Rilke's French poetry - the "Valaisian quatrains", "Orchards" and "Roses" translated by Peter Oram and Alex Barr. The T.L.S review considered the versions of the Valaisian quatrains to be "excellent translations". These handsome hardbacks are published by Starborn Books - they are currently replacing their website with a new one and these books are not visible on the old site but you can enquire about them or order them from sales@starbornbooks.co.uk

By the way, with reference to the 2nd vol of translations mentioned below, it appears that Rilke has built the Orchards cycle around a highly sophisticated structure that combines symmetrical and proportional (golden section) principles that make it unique in western literature, and there is an extensive essay in the second part of this book that describes this in detail, with illustrations.
